security cameras
Closed-circuit television (CCTV), as a collection surveillance cameras doing video surveillance. It differs from broadcast television in that all components are directly linked via cables or other direct means. CCTV is used in banks, casinos, shopping centres, streets, airports etc.
High-speed, high-resolution covert digital cameras may be mounted in smoke detectors, sprinkler heads, thermostats or clocks. (It's popular to mount cameras in ceiling tile domes (they're bubble-like and tinted so no one can see where the camera is pointed). From this vantage point, a pan/tilt/zoom(PTZ) camera can swing about and follow someone around.
Infrared cameras provide the ability to see in total darkness. Range varies from 20 feet to well over 100 feet of visibility in total darkness depending on the power and number of infrared LEDs on the camera. Our infrared cameras are available in a number of different housings. Remember not to aim Infrared cameras at each other as this will cause lighting problems, but also remember that with infrared capabilities thiefs, vandals, prowlers, and other liabilities stand no chance, even in complete darkness!
